Yes because I've been watching it since it premiered. There were a few decent episodes in the first and second season and the rest is awful

>>242147 #
It's amazing how bad it is, really. The other noonien singh in SNW makes no sense, an entire character who's existence is nostalgia, she has no past because then they would have to explain things, which they can't do.

They do. There is the TOS equation and then the TNG equation.

That exists too. It's funny because a lot of how they structured Star Trek speed and geography wasn't done until TNG, so they say all sorts of stuff in this movie that means somethign different in TNG and beyond.

The water purifier gets poisoned and to fix it, you have to enter a room with fatal levels of radiation. If you bring a companion with you who is immune to radiation, the game makes you go inside anyway and the companion dialogue is that it's your destiny.

Ok, ST 2, 3, 4, are the "trilogy". 3 is mid, 4 is the one everyone remembers, the one with the whales. ST 5 is a meme movie, that ending is straight out of the TOS, it's a long episode of the /tv/ show. ST 6 however is far more interesting because it came out in 1991 and it's all end of the Cold War stuff. That one we should watch for sure.

>>242286 #
ST 4 was a big hit in '86 btw.
>ST 5
You can skip it but the ending is hilarious, at least to me.

I will make the thread for 3 for next weekend. In retrospect, that movie is notable for giving us the Klingon design that became the standard.
