Which gives you an anime OP as a reward. It's a shame none of the videos or art are upscaled. ArtCNN could work wonders, the boss fmvs are difficult to watch at 4K. This is why I hate when cutscenes aren't in-engine.

Thanks, I ended making (so far, I saved some risen dough in the fridge) what's called 'fry bread' (I think). I just fried up several balls of dough lightly oiled in my wok.

3 cups all-purpose flour
2 tblsp instant yeast
2 tblsp sugar
1/3 cup milk (should've warmed it first)
1/3 cup rice bran oil
1 cup warm water (from fridge filter, 30secs in microwave)

dry mixed everything dry
added the milk/oil
mixed until lumpy
added water
hand-kneaded the goop until it turned into sticky dough
dusted a cutting board w/ flour
poured the dough out onto it, and shaped into a flat square shape
covered and let it rise 2hrs
cut it up into rectangles

I fried about 1/3 of it, stored the rest.

It's good tasting, but I should've fried it a little slower it's doughy inside. Outside is nice & crispy and looks like a pancake. I'd say it's kinda like 'a biscuit with oil in it flavored'. Full of energy.

I'll try to bake some later.

There is no place more accurate to use the word than ancient grain farmers in irrigated lands like mesopotamia and chiner. Whether the problem was someone taking a worker that was someone elses, or because he was not watered like livestock, these people were not landowners, or yeoman farmers, or probably free in any sense. They lived and died to fill granaries.

Since I'm nearly done with the game, I guess I can judge it. Music better, combat better, minigames awful, bosses are a mixed bag of really good and really annoying. I don't mind the absence of the open world since it was empty and janky in NMH1. NMH2 is definitely worth playing if you liked the first game.

The crew – Georgy Dobrovolsky, Vladislav Volkov, and Viktor Patsayev – arrived at the space station on 7 June 1971, and departed on 29 June 1971. The mission ended in disaster when the crew capsule depressurised during preparations for re-entry, killing the three-person crew. I'm enjoying it and finishing up the third zone. It's a relatively slower paced, more difficult doom clone/boomer shooter. Not exactly a power fantasy but it does have a power up mode that rewards you for chaining kills. It's shockingly performance intensive tho, I only get about 80fps maxed out at 4K on my 9070XT. That is true but I don't like it when studios want pity or people to get outrage when they regularly fuck people over that worked with them. That Mick Gordon case was probably the most mainstream example and they gave out some vague apology and didn't talk about it. They should've known that it would come bite them at the end.

So, it looks like it's going to be a serialization of 1/2 hour increments. I'm sure this will be on nyaa, etc. soon since it's only 30mins.

Spoiler alert!
This first episode revisits the famous scene where the diplomat is shot by Motoko, then quickly transitions into the team taking down a child-trafficking & slavery ring ala "Can I have more please, sir?" Oliver Twist style. There's a clearly-kike bad guy running the thing, AFAICT. His comeuppance was particularly pleasing.

If you do pullups or chinups, they should be among the first exercises that you do because of how much they rely on your grip strength to do at all. I think if your grip is what fails first, you should let it be your primary failure point as you gain strength in that way. Skipping past or bypassing grip strength is a good way to get hurt.

That's what's so goofy about your criticism of go, you bash web frameworks but go has a bare bones one at best built in. Python is a language and you can pick which framework you want. You can piece together what you want for what performance you want. Go's main advantage is that it's statically typed and compiled to a binary. I will still be working on my go project but only every other day.

>Leandro Bertazzo a flight instructor, jumped to his death from a small plane in mid-air, leaving his 22-year-old student pilot to land the aircraft alone.
>The incident occurred on Monday, July 6, over Toledo, Argentina, when Bertazzo exited the Cessna C-150 while airborne, according to an article The U.S. Sun published on Tuesday, July 7.
>Bertazzo, 42, is believed to be a former commercial pilot in Chile. His body was located in a nearby field after a brief search, per the report.
>The unnamed student pilot, who held a license but had limited flying experience, described the moment in detail. "He took his headphones off, arranged his belongings including his mobile phone, took his seatbelt off, opened the door which is very difficult to open and jumped out," SHE said, according to the outlet.

I'll be fair, the more I spend time at church the more I feel alienated from the thing, it is what it is.
The bote exposed me to a lot of things, I think the Orthodox have a healthier relationship and approach, but the leadership very visibly becomes politically subordinate which causes a different kind of problem.

I don't disdain christians but I don't find myself to be much of one.

The politics of the churches though, especially in burger I think is critical to note and pay attention to right now because of the israeli question. If the burger churches have to give way then the ziobux will start drying up and I think you'll seek knives comes out.

I can see several approaches to it where it's redeemable, but as they themselves say.
>wealth is in the flesh
And that stated, I care more about the people around me and their futures than anything from a few thousand years ago.

And these approaches are the mystery religion, in which for the slaves of Rome it was a relief and method of leveraging some control over their fate again. Initiation, rite, ponderance, ritual, and healthy mysticism discerning meaning and leveraging a better view of the world.
The second is the superficial, in which it's manichean base understandings are delved in to no deeper because it turns society in to a mimicry of the semitic fiefdom it came from.

The reason is the old testament, it is inseparable from the hebrew people, no matter how they try to hand waive it away, it is inseperable from the myths of the jewish people and their heritage. And by taking it, you marry in to their system.

Christianity and the Manson Family have a lot in common, the burgers just had the wisdom one thinks to nip Manson mostly in the bud with similar pretexts.

At this point i feel safe in calling all of the pending legislation over the ai hype what it is, manufactured control.
people, particularly the illiterate, are captured by a set of chatbots that are running off of more resources than entire provinces consume in a year just to be validated by the computer.
Invalidating IBM's precept in 1979 of "A computer can never be held accountable", people are now holding themselves accountable to computers. Surrendering full autonomy to them actually.
What this wave of legislation does do however, is it provides levers of control over what the internet turned in to legally in the nexus which enables most of it's aberrant and truly democratic results.
It gives American legislators, and more specifically bureaucrats and jurists the powers to censor speech and thoughts before they even arise by further consolidating industries and raising the costs of competition. Existing outside of the essentially approved platforms is in of itself going to be impossible and defacto illegal by the time this stuff is done because of every mandated 'protection'.

Just like how bitcoin is an encrypted token attached to a very complicated set of dbs in a digital world that is worth more than gold, AI which is an optimized sorting chatbot is being treated like the Oracle of Delphi and Zarathustra coming down to deliver holy words to the ignorant.
Both of which require the sacrifices of the natural earth all so people can surrender their autonomy as individual organisms and truly turn to cattle and eventually cells of a murky soup in which thoughts are unnecessary

LLMs and 'AI' produce and summarize information quickly in a mostly intelligible manner.
What is going through every legislative pipeline as a result is in burger, they are increasing DMCA capabilities over AI, but also protections for what it can do because of things like the 'Take it Down Act' and KOSA, there is a widening berth where it goes from just killing anonymity, to actual speech protections.
This brings the world more in line with unspoken back rules of the ADL and SPLC wherein certain statements and attitudes will be recriminalized through an incapability to express them.

Studios are always in a bad spot because of the production committee system. They do contract work for publishers and publishers basically control how much the contracts are worth, but most anime succeed or fail because of the publisher due to shit like marketing. Studios usually get some money from BD and merch sales, but they live and die on the contract money and see none of the big bux from streaming licenses to foreign companies. Also Sony is trying to control the industry. They have big publishing and music arms plus own crunchyroll and funimation.

I can see an animation tool that uses AI to speed up the process allowing animators to break free. Like you create the keyframes, train the AI on your style, and have it do the intermediate frames. I've thought of this before actually. The problem is that executives are retarded and would rather use a tool like that to replace the expensive senior animators who do the keyframes and keep the korean/vietnamese inbetweeners.

A few programmers will create it on their own and a few lone animators will use it, then the cat is out of the bag. These execs only have jobs because of copyrights and owning the IP chokepoint. It's basically a game to me now.
I'm applying the same level of research and strategy as I do to video games.
And it's fun!
Honestly anyone who's watched a lot of anime can put about 100 hours of effort into studying the basics of the language, and then re-watch the same shows focusing on the words and you will probably be close to N5 JLPT level which is above tourists and only another hundred hours away of studying from being able to watch without subtitles and understand most of what's going on in any japanese conversation.
You literally only need to memorize 2000 words and know how to say them properly without sounding like a robot to be 'fluent'.
I really can't recommend learning nip speak enough if you are a true animu fan, because there is so much lost in translation in the subtitles.
Seriously, I'm only at around 100 hours of audio lessons and few hundred words and it's very noticable watching any anime how much nuance and charm is lost in translation.

There's nothing on 2nite so I'm thinking about going to sleep again. Forgive Me Father 2 is kind of eh. The gameplay is better and the art looks great, but the plot is stupid. Every level is a warped memory of the protagonist and it has constant stupid dialogue between him and a voice that basically spells out that he has PTSD from WW1 and that probably none of the cthulhu cult stuff is real. The first game was more interesting, the levels were more diverse and it was more ambiguous what was and wasn't real.

>Today, the European Parliament allowed the suspicionless mass scanning of private communications (“Chat Control 1.0”) to pass, a measure it had rejected twice in March. Although a majority of voting Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) actually opposed the regulation (314 against, 276 in favor, 17 abstentions), the motion to reject it failed to secure the required absolute majority of 361 votes. As a result, mass scanning is now permitted again until 2028.
>A symbolic exemption was adopted for encrypted communications—though in practice, service providers do not scan these anyway. Furthermore, while a majority of voting MEPs wanted to restrict the scanning of private communications strictly to suspects identified by the judiciary (322 to 255 votes), this amendment likewise fell short of the required absolute majority.

brutalism worked by giving space to interiors and new forms of development in that sphere by turning the exterior into a visual offense. Representing a mental shift away from collective health and prosocial behaviors and self-indulgence. Only the inner world matters, the few in one's domicile, and essentially only oneself.

AI boogymen is not why games are shit (most of them are still shit anyway).

tbh I've played a lot of unique UE4 and 5 games. The reason that unreal games are generic is because the industry is converging on one engine made for the lowest common denominator of college failures dumb or desperate enough to get into gamedev. You can still make a different kind of game with UE5 like FMF2, the AAA people just can't do it.

I really want a developer to release a game where he used AI and just doesn't mention it, then he mentions it a year later just to gauge the reactions. Skilled devs can still manage the 7th gen 4-5 year AAA standard. Modern games are made by several siloed teams of dozens of contract workers that don't understand the project they're working on and thousands of indian outsourced labor that churn out models and textures that probably dont even make it into the game.

Myself, at least for the frontier LLMs that everybody has their eyes glued onto, I personally believe that the ladder is going to be yanked up sooner or later until effectively only the enterprise users can afford them, as with all projects loss led by SV venture capital, so anybody with a brain should not fall for any astroturfing aiming to make people dependent on LLMs. And the models still have issues with reward hacking and cheating on benchmarks. But the data structure itself undeniably has actual utility. I'm not very positive on Njudea's new "neural texture compressor," but it undeniably exists to fulfill an actual purpose of reducing VRAM consumption in games without materially impacting the fidelity of the texture rendering itself.
Anyways, why am I rambling so long about this? I guess I just wanted to say that agentic engineering, the evolution of "vibe coding," can put out some decent stuff if there's a deep/hyper research loop ran and the models are forced to put together comprehensive architecture plans and constantly debate and benchmark everything every step of the way (which is still failure in my eyes if they need to constantly check the web to prevent hallucination). That's mostly where the "good," imperceptible AI shit is going to come from. Your average GPT user, however, is NOT going to prompt Claude to, say, have it run three adversarial reviews and determine whether QUIC is better than WebRTC as a protocol and whatnot, and have it burn 180M tokens on just research alone. In essence, Pareto principle still applies even with tech supposedly advertised to "democratize" shit, much like there'll be a gem on sociopathic media but it's surrounded by two thousand five second long turds.

Neutral texture compression is just using AI to solve a problem created by AI. Couldn't the same thing have done the same thing with CNNs a decade ago if there was real demand for saving VRAM?
>I guess I just wanted to say that agentic engineering, the evolution of "vibe coding," can put out some decent stuff if there's a deep/hyper research loop ran and the models are forced to put together comprehensive architecture plans and constantly debate and benchmark everything every step of the way (which is still failure in my eyes if they need to constantly check the web to prevent hallucination).

My boss mandates it. Some firms stupidly have "token quotas" where engineers have to use a certain amount to benchmark how "productive" they're being.
>Without VC money, AI is going to fall apart.
Correct. However, open weight models that are available on the web still exist, and I personally believe that if AI is going to continue it's going to be in FOSS agents that are quantized to run locally.
>Couldn't the same thing have been done with CNNs a decade ago if there was real demand for saving VRAM?
In this current marketing blitz, CNNs are "AI" as far as the bigwigs are concerned. Retardittors are trying to take advantage of this by claiming that search engine autocomplete is "AI" which is why you need to buy their Claude-coded piece of refuse on Bitch.io
>You still need to understand what it's doing though and that's where vibe coders fail.
Also correct.
The impact of AI so far has been in accelerating information processing in infrastructure and daily procedure.
For example, at work, I batch prep product photos to have their backgrounds automatically removed and replaced by transparent alpha layers with AI agents, which removes the need for those lightboxes you may have seen for ecommerce. This is also a dirty secret: if a company receives product with some cosmetic damage or defect, oftentimes these days they'll prompt a generative AI model to simply remove the defect using reference of a brand new product instead of cleaning it for real. This is one "invisible" application of AI people don't really think about. Not essential, as I've said before, but it does legitimately save time and labor.

I will save the over burdening for after I’m a permanent resident and will then probably go to a university for my actual long term career goals.

4803. Standards for recognition of foreign-country judgment.
(a) Except as otherwise provided in subsections (b) and (c) of this section, a court of this State shall recognize a foreign-country judgment to which this chapter applies.
(b) A court of this State may not recognize a foreign-country judgment if:

(1) The judgment was rendered under a judicial system that does not provide impartial tribunals or procedures compatible with the requirements of due process of law;
(2) The foreign court did not have personal jurisdiction over the defendant; or
(3) The foreign court did not have jurisdiction over the subject matter.
(c) A court of this State need not recognize a foreign-country judgment if:

(1) The defendant in the proceeding in the foreign court did not receive notice of the proceeding in sufficient time to enable the defendant to defend;
(2) The judgment was obtained by fraud that deprived the losing party of an adequate opportunity to present its case;
(3) The judgment or the cause of action on which the judgment is based is repugnant to the public policy of this State or of the United States;
(4) The judgment conflicts with another final and conclusive judgment;
(5) The proceeding in the foreign court was contrary to an agreement between the parties under which the dispute in question was to be determined otherwise than by proceedings in that foreign court;
(6) In the case of jurisdiction based only on personal service, the foreign court was a seriously inconvenient forum for the trial of the action;
(7) The judgment was rendered in circumstances that raise substantial doubt about the integrity of the rendering court with respect to the judgment; or
(8) The specific proceeding in the foreign court leading to the judgment was not compatible with the requirements of due process of law.
(d) A party resisting recognition of a foreign-country judgment has the burden of establishing that a ground for nonrecognition stated in subsection (b) or (c) of this section exists.

>what does this mean
Essentially 4kidz is open to liability if any of the five states it is subject to is open to pursuing the judgement on behalf of King Charles III. And interprets the law in such a way as to make that company liable unto them.
>why does this matter
Something to note going forward regarding security of /homu/. The states with the most explicit legislation regarding this are New York and I think Wyoming from the KF mention but I perused the legality of it in other states out of curiosity; results of being that this is mostly uniform across the United States but tempers in different states get different results.
Regardless, it is an automatic failure to submit via arbitration in their court system.

No, because it would count as a submission to their judgement, and it's also insufficient because regardless they will pursue you still via arbitrary claims as is the case kf is having.
On a flip note, the state with the laxest interpretations I think is California regarding this because of it's border arbitrations it has to do with Mexico.

I wouldn't be surprised if valve starts enforcing the firewall between steam in china and the rest of the world again over this. Right now about 1/3 of steam global accounts are mainland chinese on VPNs, check the simplified chinese language stats in the survey. China has their own steam client and storefront but nobody uses it because it's censored. The party lets the chinese use the global store because I guess it's useful to influence mass trends, the chinese are notoriously loyal to chinese devs and will review bomb and harass anti-china devs.

It depends. I buy things from commies almost all the time and if it raises an eyebrow I intend it so because it makes them mad I'm enjoying it.
I understand it though. for example I'll avoid I think Ridgid and Milwaukee's plastic rollouts because they're produced in Israel while DeWalt and Craftsman are produced in Burger.
Wiha/Wera are all German made but eye wateringly expensive and niche.

Oh you mean shadecloth. Fam has some they bought, it works good but half the stuff I was trying to source came from kibbutzes. I don't want plastic in mine so there's some niggerrigged cheap 2x4 stuff, it works great too. But on the big scale can't shade everything.

>>193709 #
Buying things accidentally from jew companies is unavoidable, but not buying israeli products is not hard to do. You just have to have a line in the sand. Especially for cheap plastic crap, it's not a quality issue.
This was through a wholesaler for greenhouses and similar stuff. There's a US based company that was probably fine, but fam bought their stuff before I finished looking into it.

>seasonally adapted
Personally, I have not found there to be a benefit to do this in the heat but the cold makes a larger difference to me.

I also generally do not train in zone 2 or moderate cardio. I find I am much more likely to get heatstroke than it is for me to improve in any way in the heat, while my performance doesn't really degrade if I train in regulated temps and then test myself in a more extreme enviornment.
>>193717 #
I am just saying I don't like training in heat because I'll just become a heat casualty instead of getting better at whatever it is I am doing. I know how to manage myself in heat, I just prefer to avoid the issue entirely if i can help it. It's one thing if I am out hiking, it's another entirely if I am doing interval sprints where I will absolutely pass out if I do them in 90+F heat.

I can feel the cold sap my bones when I go to run or do anything in it. I'll still do it though.
>heatstroke
When I was in west burger it didn't bother me too much so long as I maintained that conditioning in the cold.
>moderate cardio
I've been appending sprints at the end of my running and swimming lately respectively.
Finding it helps me get split times lower, whereas for the swimming I feel I'm building the momentum and energy to do the kick flip.

>manage in heat
Water, and water strategically applied, conditioning over time increases the bodies available plasma according to anti-ac prop appropriate clothes. Cotton wicks moisture then holds on to your sweat and presses it on your body, polyester wicks moisture and doesn't chafe it.

sucks.... you can smell it on you when you sweat. I figure if it feels icky it is.

Maybe everyone knows this but if you have running water that is cooler than body temperature, just run some over your forearms every so often, bloodflow will cool you down.
>>193717 #
Anonymous
>>193717 #
Where I am right now, it's like 85-105 with very high humidity, you CANNOT sweat it cool when you are exerting yourself. You either do less or pass out or get brain damage from the amount of bodyheat you cannot exhaust. Drinking ice water is not enough if you do not take regular breaks.

I know, I generally throw it over my neck with a rag but the second it's hot, it's no longer helpful again. That takes about 5 minutes. I don't know if you have trained in high temp, high humidity but it's just stupid to try and push yourself when you cannot sweat cool even if you carry ice water, you generate enough heat that it doesn't last very long and then you are fucked if you are putting out high exertion.

I have passed out from this before and I really really don't want to do it again.

What is the humidity, roughly, in the area you are running? If it's below 50% I don't want to hear it. You're just built different, I guess. If I push past 50% output for any length of time, I will absolutely pass out from not being able to cool down. I am what you would call a heat casualty because we are in similar conditions but I can't really keep up with that.
