The concept of progress, i.e., an improvement or completion (in modern jargon, a rationalization) became dominant in the eighteenth century, in an age of humanitarian-moral belief. Accordingly, progress meant above all progress in culture, self-determination, and education: moral perfection. In an age of economic or technical thinking, it is self-evident that progress is economic or technical progress. To the extent that anyone is still interested in humanitarian-moral progress, it appears as a byproduct of economic progress. If a domain of thought becomes central, then the problems of other domains are solved in terms of the central domain - they are considered secondary problems, whose solution follows as a matter of course only if the problems of the central domain are solved.

Not as much and the problem with forums isn't just the persona. The nametag and other features (join date, post count, likes on profiles or comments and so on) all change how people interact. Even if you can identify an anon here, they can always start behaving differently if they want to and there is no persistent account of how they were in the past.

We use a syncwatch. Here's the current one for the movie.
>>118961 ➡ #
About proper synced video, I've been working on that recently. Can we talk about this in 50 minutes? The short version is that I might set up a cytube but I'd prefer to keep the current format of discussion in the /mtv/ thread. It's been a tradition for a long time.

I wasn't going to have cytube replace the regular way of watching movies. I wanted to provide a synced stream for anons who don't want to download the movies, but this PR had issues after I implemented it.
https://github.com/bakape/shamichan/pull/1113
Unless we use cloudflare I likely can't serve movies without network performance issues and the only streaming sites that provide syncing APIs are youtube, vimeo and (sort of) niconico. Those won't be available for most movies anons want to watch. So my idea is to slim down the PR to just a custom embed of a hardcoded cytube channel. The only issue is that cytube doesn't let you embed just the video. I need to look into what I can do with custom CSS and settings for a channel as well as see what formats I could upload.

I'm confused about the geography. They go north and it's dangerous. Further north and it's more dangerous. It feels like 75% of their continent is the dangerous north but there is all this important stuff like the mage academy city with Serie, in the dangerous north.

The south is dangerous too, though maybe more pacified at the part of story being shown.
It's also kind of funny how the mage association is important but not really. Serie's stuff would have more to do with that, it is being shown more later but we still have to guess at many of the reasons. There is another country or empire later that is different.

That usually means a different revision of the game, not the release. You'll have to look up the game itself for differences between revisions. Sometimes its bugfixes they couldn't ship in time (euro versions are often the best because they released last), rarely its censorship.

the jews have prevented the catholic church from celebrating eastern sunday in jerusalem.
>The Catholic Church and world leaders are criticizing Israeli police after they prevented the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, from entering the Church of the Holy Sepulchre to celebrate a Palm Sunday Mass. I don't how it improves much. Venezuelan oil is shit and was illegal to buy, Iranian oil was just illegal. Doesn't burger lose market share by those hitting the market. It depends on the amount of time and money a person has. If someone has a reasonably secure method of buying things online that obfuscates their identity, that wouldn't be needed. But that takes time effort and is inconvenient. Drone racing is popular enough in the US and globally that its not suspect unless you're ordering cratefuls of 200 each from aliexpress.

Anonymous
>>119726 #
Yeah, you should learn how to fly, build and maintain drones. The issue is that they're not exactly a cheap hobby. Almost as bad as firearms in terms of cost. I'd say the cheapest route is to buy a controller, a flitetest gremlin kit and a spare kit, buy a drone centric flight sim that can hook up to your PC via a USB dongle and then practicing that way. Do as much practice as possible, if there are challenges for manuvering drones in the program, max out all the scores before you fly for the first time.

I'd say to get a 150$ knockoff DJIs on amazog as well, that comes with a controller of course and then messing around with those. Generally keep the drones under 250g for the sake of legal denyability but they already have a pretty decent range. Consider getting low noise propellers as well, although less efficent lift wise, the reduction in noise is worth it.

In total, getting started in flying drones is probably like 3-400$ + FPV headset. For the FPV headset, get the nice fatshark one because it's light and small and can be used for a while but I think they're like 500$ or so. There are cheaper ones that work fine but cannot be used for as long with things like race drones.

If you have a good bit of money, thermal drones can be had on auction sites like govdeals for much less than they cost retail but almost all of them require at least a hobby license to fly. There are basically no sub 250g thermal drones as far as I know other than a 25k$ american one that's sold to the US mil but can be bought second hand.

Normal time on Sunday nights? 10 PM EST right? Release order makes more sense. There is a lot of stuff, visually, in the prequels that are direct call backs to the original trilogy that are completely lost on the viewer if y ou don't watch the original trilogy first.
I will make a thread later in the week for Star Wars Episode 4 at 10PM EST on Sunday.

fcomms5 costs over 1300 and to fpga this with costs about 700 and then I would still need antennas. It is perhaps possible to connect 2 fcomms3 or something equivalent together because they have external clock input but I don't know if that is possible yet.

it could be useful in certain contexts when someone certainly not me is getting loads of dumb posts deleted and the streisand effect of wanting to see what's getting deleted would lead to anon clicking the bins to see what's getting deleted, though in that case a curious cat such as myself would just disable the feature to see them anyways

Also, at those shorter distances, you really should not be needing supersonic bullets. Subsonic is perfectly fine and much quieter. If you use 22lr or 9mm, it basically cannot be heard when suppressed outside of a very short distance ESPECIALLY in an urban area. Also, ballistic trajectories can be traced on cameras, be aware of all the cameras and angles they cover on any route you use. If you need to, destroy cameras long before you execute something in an area to secure a route. Any vehicle on camera can and will be tracked, either by color/model or, even worse, license plate.

No I think excessive worry about getting caught involving extreme scenarios (what angle a stray round goes by a camera somewhere else) rather than more normal happenstance, will cause people to freeze in inaction if the need should arise.
>>119952 #
are you the pistol at a few yards suggester or the .22 at 200+ yards suggester? because in neither scenario does your boolit going by a camera somewhere else matter.
>>119952 #>>119954 #
Anonymous
>>119951 #
I am talking the angle the round goes into and out of the guy and if it can be seen by any camera on any frame, the direction finding is easy to do. Once they do that, they can EASILY find any cameras covering the ingress/egress of the direction it came from. Meaning you need to be aware all cameras in the target area, ingress and egress routes, as well as alternates. Not getting caught is the most important thing in our case.
>>119951 #
Anonymous
You should just go ahead and assume they will know from where you fired. You should have some plan for that ahead of time.
Anonymous
>>119951 #
It's not the camera just capturing the bullet, it's the event that happens, the direction the boolet comes from and where it goes to what and the OTHER CAMERAS that see the thing the boolet likely came out of.

If you cannot understand WHY that would be a problem, you are retarded.

>>119958 #
I'm not talking about not preparing, I'm saying that if you don't have plans for if and when you are caught, you were terminally retarded in the first place.

No, a camera that has you on it is infinitely more important than one that might have something tiny going by at hundreds of fps that doesn't tell much anyways.

How you go about being fucked is a personal decision that doesn't really need research other than maybe knowing the team that's gonna go after you and prepping an ambush.
>>119963 #

>>119959 #
Camera covering the target will be used, anon. What I am saying is that it can LEAD BACK TO YOU if you are not careful and don't know the cameras in the area. You should do your best to seperate yourself from any and all cameras. You CAN be on camera if you have a disposable set of clothes and something covering your face but you really should avoid it if at all possible, including on ingress and egress nearby.
Anonymous
You also have to worry about the bullet passing through other static material that can be used to point back to the origin.
>>119964 #
Anonymous
>>119960 #
Considering how some anons talk about avoiding all chances of being caught, I don't think that is a scenario they let themselves entertain.
>>119969 #>>119971 #

>>119962 #
I think if the bullets hits almost anything but your target, it'll probably be deflected enough that you'll miss.
>>119968 #
Anonymous
>>119964 #
I was thinking about after the bullet exits the target. If it goes into/through a wall that could be used to point back at you.
Anonymous
>>119963 #
If anons want to choose one path or another, that's on them. Surrender, ambush or run, that's pretty much all you have available. If you are to run, you better have a significant lead time to leave the states cause the entire DoJ will be on your ass ASAP. They do not take this sort of thing lightly because they are the protectors of the deserving, it's who pays them and who gives them orders. If you get good enough, expect HRT or Delta to come after you.

There are different levels of getting caught as well. Getting spotted on scene beforehand is way different than having a license plate read leaving the scene. One can just delay or be dealt with at the time, the other means you need to disappear and leave the country AFAP

You can also create noise in your environment using your tracking device as well. Even things like playing recordings of daily life around your tracking device in your typical place is a very functional thing. Kinda hard to imitate things like accelerometers and other sensors in your phone but sound is often enough. Also, anything that's in a faraday bag will still be using all other sensors, including camera, accelerometers, magnetometers, microphones and such and will continue to record and then send that data when it's next connected.
