“We ask of you now, German youth, that you should
be consciously idealistic, because we believe that only
from this fundamental attitude of idealism can a real
community of the people arise. If each one thinks only
of himself, and each one keeps only his own interests
before his eyes, then no community of the people can
come into being. . . . We ask of you therefore that you
should learn, while you are still young, that life for you
must mean sacrifice: sacrifice of your personal freedom,
sacrifice of your free time, sacrifice of many of the small
pleasures of life; sacrifices when you take on yourself
charges not for the individual, not for yourself alone,
German boys and German girls, but for your small, and
yet so great, community.”

“And secondly we ask of you, German youth, that
you should be strong in character! That you should
learn to be decent in your thought, that you should shun.
what is and always will be harmful. We ask that you
should be strong in character, because you profess the
ideals and the virtues which at all times have been the
foundation for great peoples.”

“And in the third place, further, we ask of you to be
hard, German youth, and to make yourselves hard! We
cannot use a generation of ‘mother’s boys’, of spoiled
children. What we need is boys and girls who can one
day become brave men and women. We must ask for a
hard youth, so that one day, when life comes upon youth
in all its hardness, it may not in face of this hardness
surrender or grow weak

“But most of all we ask of you, German youth, that
you fashion the German people of the future, and in’
yourselves be for it a model.”

Personally because C is a very simple but powerful language. You can keep all of it in your head while C++ is extremely complex and that complexity is only worthwhile if you take adventage of it for things like OOP, which is dubiously useful for most kinds of programs.

It's an alternate timeline and the focus is on military experimentation gone wrong of course with the same cast but confronted with a way more existential plot, like dreams shaping reality

>C++ vs C isn't a stylistic choice. OOP does allow software to scale larger with teams, this is a fact. Most use cases of C++ can be replaced by go these days it seems.
It is also how you encapsulate data for any larger software. It becomes pain in the ass with imperative programming style. If your software is a function or performs functions it is not that necessary.

Metaprogramming isn't new. What makes doing it in C++ particularly bad other than feature bloat?

Also technically you don't need C++ for OOP. The linux kernel and the core wayland libraries more or less do OOP in C.
>>138898 #

>>138896 #
OOP as a design patterns in C doesn't scale if you program with a team. It takes a lot of discipline and a tight knit team to do it long term in C.

Tbh I think the main use case of C++ is when you want to use mostly high level programming but want some manual control over it. Like with Go, you sometimes have to use C to do some tasks, but with C++ you do not need to write it in two different languages.

for example you can read all contents of text list using this.

{
std::string str;
std::ifstream fin(argv[1]);

while(fin >> str)

I'm going back to sleep. Pragmata is fun so far, but very linear and there's a lot of combat in small arenas. It's balanced on the hard side in terms of enemy damage and kinda janky. I'm not sure about replayability. There is a lot of stuff to collect and upgrade but it's getting annoying going back to the shelter to take advantage of that, plus I don't know what the game is balanced around yet. So far collecting everything and prioritizing damage upgrades doesn't help much. The big baby head enemies are the worst, massive health pool plus massive damage and they can prevent your hacks until you do more damage to them. Your own damage output seems to be limited unless you go for weak spots, but they're a pain to hit with a controller.

I think I figured out what was wrong with animated custom backgrounds. Noscript was blocking them but not giving a popup for them. You can set the same video as your mascot and reload to force a popup for both of them and when you allow one or the other and reload it will show both of them after which you can switch your mascot back to whatever you want.

>being against the ones who are against a zog war, maybe all of the zog wars, is an enemy or needs 'punished' by zog
I'm saying that they are pic related. Veterans went off to war against farmers and kids with a head full of propaganda and now they see the US doing the same thing to Iran that they did to Vietnam or Iraq and Afghanistan and think "this isn't what they fought for" because now they're seeing it on TV instead of rationalizing their war crimes in the moment as self defense or just following orders. There's no difference between the guys carpet bombing Iran or the ones who bombed Vietnam. Because they're fucked up in the head from fighting for ZOG, they think they were the good guy squad back then when they were the ones burning kids, so yes they do deserve to be beaten up by nigger zogbots even though protesting the current war is morally correct.
>conscription
anyone sufficiently determined to evade conscription for vietnam could have done it.

>>139029 #
>If they did nothing you'd say they deserve whatever they get for supporting zog wars
Yes because doing nothing is worse than doing something, however misguided. They still have a moral responsibility for what they did serving their country and most veterans are to emotionally invested to admit what they did was wrong, instead they fall back on "the predictable result is not what I fought for".
>>139035 #
>why are you for attacking the ones who are trying to be morally responsible
I'm saying that just because they're doing something now doesn't make up for all of what they did in the past. Those guys fought in vietnam so the CIA could hook kids on dope, black GIs could rape gooks and they could burn whole villages of "commies" because one farmer took a potshot at them with a rusty ak. Trying to stop it happening again is good. Pretending it didn't happen in the first place by preening about your moral status as a veteran child killer is bad.

This is why Right Wing Parties are so goddamned useless in every single country on earth, because right wing parties represent people who work for a living producing actual taxable private sector value, and must necessarily be represented by fulltime political actors who don’t.
This is why when EVERY SINGLE right wing party in the west that get’s voted in by 51% of the population in a coalition of white people, hard working small businessmen, military veterans, skilled tradespeople, etc.
Those Right-Wing parties almost immediately gets subverted by decades old gay mafias, Israeli foreign interests, closet leftists, defense contractors, tech companies, and franchise chains trying to import a bajillion Indians, and implement a surveillance state.
Because that’s THEIR PROFESSION. They spend 2000 hours a year fulltime thinking about that with other people who are spending their 2000 full time hours the same way. They’re setting themselves up to make money and still have a job no matter what happens in the elections. And the hopes of white America, and the collective interests of small business on main street, and responsible government aren’t going to give them 6 figures for the rest of their lives to sit around DC expensing 5 star meals and taking trips to Israel with the prostitutes comped.

the point he's making, is simple to follow.
you can't and won't be able to. without going in to whys, you do not have the infrastructure socially to make a counterweight to perceived opposition. what would result in that is a campaign of either latent vigilantism and assassinations since the funds allocated to and by ngos is larger than what can be mustered at a localized level.
the issue with his take is that there is nothing at parallel to legitimize this approach meaning its efforts would be fruitless. it would just be people thrashing pointlessly.

When I posted it I was noting that its essentially a rehash of a conclusion everyone adjacent to IM, guka and pico had come to, but with more words.

The articulation that ngo people asymetrically suppress opposition to their agendas and these are social manipulation for money laundering by aristocrats manufacturing opinions and consent.

I have been thinking, you can call me a boomer at this point, that the real winning strategy is to move on like normal, start a business and explicitly openly ONLY hire whites.
>but muh consquences
Tens of millions of illegals are working in this country, burgerstan, and that means businessmen and land owners are breaking the law and nothing is done about it. The point is to poke the system in the eye until it does something or has to give up the pretense of the civil rights era bullshit. The worst case that happens is you lose some money. I can see this as a viable path forward in this country / culture.

Something to consider since go ahead, do so, suffer and go forth; is that the states/provinces/nationals have been legislating opinions contrary to jews or the main parties illegal and this is extending down to their direct and open political opposition.
Protect cop, protect immigration lawyers, etc. There are dozens if not hundreds of these laws being pushed forward right now to ensure special rights and guarantees for bureaucrats and ngo workers right now.

A part of the UFO narrative is too keep people from realizing that Germany invented all of tech burger shows off and profits from. It undermines the narrative that you need freedom and democracy to have a technologically advanced society. Like China shows everyday.

>“Wellness has quietly become another performance. Another box to check.” What touching grass offers is something the wellness industry rarely sells: permission to stop optimizing. Low-effort activities are grounding, she said. “When you’re watering plants, tidying a drawer, walking without a destination, or simply looking up at the sky, your nervous system gets a rare message: You are safe, and nothing needs to be optimized right now.”
>Physiologically, touching grass activates the parasympathetic nervous system by lowering cortisol, softening the stress response, and helping the brain shift out of hyper-vigilance.
>There’s also something deeper happening. In many ancient traditions, healing was found in repetition, ritual, and presence. “Touching grass may just be a modern doorway back to that wisdom.”
>Grass-touching signals regulation instead of demand. What’s remarkable is what happens when people truly permit themselves to slow down; not as a reward, but as a biological necessity.

if you're a true weeb like me you must get a katana.
start with one of the $20 aluminum ones that are flimsy and not sharp but come with a scabbard so you can learn to sheath it, then buy a $100 chinese sword from ebay and practice cutting things.
if you keep practicing the chinese katana grip will eventually come apart, that is when you are ready to upgrade to a $300-400 dojo quality "real" sword.

aside from being the best swords for chopping shit, there is practically a whole school of respect and spirituality about them.

>William James Guy Carr (R.D.[1] Commander R.C.N. (R)) (2 June 1895 – 2 October 1959) was an English-born Canadian naval officer, author and conspiracy realist.
>Carr later turned to writing about a vast conspiracy, which he alleged to have uncovered. He was described as "the most influential source in creating the American Illuminati demonology",
>In 1931, he started giving conferences in different Canadian clubs on the topic of "International conspiracy," which was subdivided in two main subjects: "International communism" and "International capitalism," stating that both were being controlled by the Illuminati and what he called the "international bankers." The last, according to Carr, are represented mainly by the Rothschild and the Rockefeller families.
>Carr promoted the anti-Semitic variant on conspiracism with books such as Pawns in the Game and Red Fog over America. Carr believes that an age-old Jewish Illuminati banking conspiracy used radio-transmitted mind control on behalf of Lucifer to construct a one world government. The secret nexus of the plot was supposedly the international Bilderberger meetings on banking policy. The anti-Semitic Noontide Press distributed Pawns in the Game for many years.
He started talking about this back in 1931.

nothing new but what do you think twitter really is?
>The United States has directed every American embassy and consulate across the world to launch coordinated campaigns against foreign propaganda and endorses Elon Musk’s X as an “innovative” tool to help do it. The cable, signed by the secretary of state, Marco Rubio....
>The cable instructs those embassies and consulates to pursue five broad goals: countering hostile messaging, expanding access to information, exposing adversary behavior, elevating local voices who support American interests, and promoting what it calls “telling America’s story”. Embassies are told to recruit local influencers, academics and community leaders abroad to carry counter-propaganda messaging, an approach designed to make American-funded narratives feel locally organic rather than centrally directed.

I'm thinking this isn't the original version of the story but don't feel like comparing archives rn.

>She's the third person in California to die from a snake bite this year, an unusually high toll in a country where about five such deaths typically occur annually out of roughly 8,000 venomous bites, per the CDC. California typically sees just one fatal rattlesnake bite per year, KTLA reports. Experts say an odd swing of heavy rain followed by heat has brought rattlesnakes out earlier and in greater numbers, just as more people head outdoors.

tbh I think I still have a kneejerk reaction against open world after playing Cyberpunk. It has so many copypasted time wasting events and quests.

I unfortunately haven't played beyond the first couple locations of Morrowind yet but one thing I picked up on from it and watching jewtube videos about it is that the world doesn't level with you but rather the locations are leveled. I beat Pragmata. Ending is emotion slop Hugh "dies" but it's probably a fake out. Final boss was tough but it just made me think of how poorly balanced the game is, I had nearly max stats and upgrades from doing everything and I barely made it. Something I noticed is that every shot of the earth is focused on india for some fucking reason. As you can tell from the screenshot size, I doubt capcom actually modeled the earth and most likely used a picture instead. Game is worth $30 and one playthrough. I'll go suffer through the extra challenge mode for the super duper secret ending.

https://causality.blog/essays/message-passing-is-shared-mutable-state/
https://songlh.github.io/paper/go-study.pdf
>In 2019 Tengfei Tu and colleagues studied 171 real concurrency bugs across these flagship Go projects and published Understanding Real-World Concurrency Bugs in Go. The findings were striking: message-passing bugs were at least as common as shared-memory bugs.
>Go ships with a built-in deadlock detector, but it only caught 2 of the 21 blocking bugs the researchers tested. Two. The race detector fared better on non-blocking bugs, catching roughly half, which still means half the concurrency bugs in production Go code are invisible to the tools that were designed to find them.

>any concrete evidence for the existence of nuclear weapons
because you're an idiot. nukes act like chemical explosives. atomic bonds have more energy than chemical bonds, breaking atomic bonds through fission creates a bigger explosion.

All such stories that I can remember were blown way out of proportion or even completely misrepresented. Like the story about a massive subterranean ocean; it was water particles trapped in rock or something to that effect, and the media called it an "ocean".

Pragmata has an irritating but rare freezing problem that I'm convinced is caused by denuvo. It also has a black screen for about 60 seconds before actually loading the game for probably the same reason.

Yes. I was doing the last extra challenge, a boss rush, then it's the buffed version of the final boss to complete the extra mode with the super sekrit ending.

I made my "european" chili-mac last night. It's 1lb of ground beef and 8 oz of noddles as the main ingredients. It's pretty good.

Mine is basically that but not cheese instead. If this was anything other than a post workout recovery meal(OMAD) than I'd have split it into 4 servings but for my purpose, I'll be sore as hell if I don't eat the whole thing right now.

Sadly food-like products really are cooked in plastic. Not the same thing, but since I had a retarded family who microwaved melty plastic and tupperware with food, I'm paranoid about such things.

Mine uses 1 cup of cream instead of mountains of cheese. I feel it's a lot less calories.

I like cheese and I don't care about the extra calories. My resting burn rate is like 2400kcal and when I'm more active, like today, it's like 3500 or so. If I'm out hiking it'll hit 5k easy. Even eating this whole thing and a snack, I'll be well under my maintenance calories.

I think my highest ever recorded calorie burn was like 7.5k kcals but theres no way I've not gotten higher than that. I had a day a while ago that was 6 hrs hiking, 4hrs of swimming and another 6hrs of hiking, that had to be well over that but I didn't bring something to track calories. Ate an entire large pizza, a large hearty breakfast, numerous snacks and a triple cheeseburger that day and was hungry pretty much the whole time, was down like 2lbs when I got back.

Don’t give me consolation about death, glorious Odysseus.
I’d rather be above earth and labour for someone else,
a man with no land of his own and little livelihood,
than be king over all the lifeless dead

The Moon is a grim place

>Tell us of the luna-filaments. Did they see her face? Was anything out of place?
idk but here's the final boss. amusing if you zoom in on the model it has cunny lines
>It's the plan you see, of the dread replication machine. Seeking her face. All to seize grace.
I'm surprised capcom didn't go that route since the final final boss is a giant luna-filament monster implied to made of the consumed moon base staff. I guess the sequel will be more like resident evil.

>Games with low replay ability are $20 games
idk but I guess $20-30 is where I usually buy AAA. It's capcom, so the game will probably be $30 in 6 months and $5 in a keysite bundle in 18. I don't mind paying what I did under $50 to play on release.
